These drawings explore the edge-line where rock, water, and sky meet, the diaphanous light and color that interplay between the lake and the sky, and the continually shifting appearance of the shores of Tettegouche State Park.This work is the first series that I have made of Lake Superior. It has been twenty-two years since I first came to northern Minnesota — I have finally spent enough time observing here to create work about this place.
